I actually first discovered this cleanser when I started breaking out and I don't know why.
I purchased one for myself because my aunt proved me the efficacy of this cleanser is good. I'll break down my review to PACKAGING, SMELL, CONCENTRATION, CONTENT, PRICE, AVAILABILITY AND THE OVERALL EFFECT.
PACKAGING: The packaging for me is okay, it is not the best, but for me, as long as I can control how much of the product goes on to my palm, it's really fine. But the thing is, sometimes the product that comes out is not that enough to wash my whole face, so I have to pour some again which always ends up to be A LOT which is a big no no.
SMELL: For me, the smell is very good, it is not that strong and it is not fragrance free. It is neutral which is very good because most of the people have allergic reactions to SCENT.
CONCENTRATION: It is not that sticky, it has a watery orangey substance that turns into a soapy product when you rub it all over your face. It is not that all watery, it still has the hint of concentration but it is not STICKY. It also creates bubbles like a soap when you put it on your face.
CONTENT: It has Salicylic Acid extracted naturally from a Willow Bark Extract which can take away your pimples without harming your skin with chemicals. It also has Primrose and Beet Root Extracts which can help your skin to stay healthy and glowing. It's made with natural ingredients which makes it safer to try on that any other anti-blemish solutions out there whch contain harmful chemicals.
PRICE: For me, the price is kind of expensive for a drugstore procduct. I live in Canada so it retails for about CAD 16-17 including the taxes. I have no problem with the price when it comes to efficacy since it's better than any other drugstore products but when it comes to the ounce , it is just 5 ounce and you have to sue it 2 times a day so it will possibly last up to 3 weeks so I think it is just the size which makes it not worth the price at all.
AVAILABILITY: It is not that available here. I bought this at Walmart which has also limited Burt's Bees products and as far as I know Walmart has the widest range of selection here in my place and they don't even have all of the Burt's Bees products for the Anti-Blemish line.
OVERALL EFFECT: Overall, it is by far the best, it will definitely dry out your skin a bit but the flakiness that it gives is bearable than any other solutions. It can be prevented with a Vaseline petroleum jelly. The part of my face that is mostly affected is my nose, I always get dryness around the corner of my nose which is not bad but it cleared up my skin and prevented future blemishes. I've been using it for over a week now and my face became glowy and kinda clear compared before.
Product that I used prior to using this product: Aveeno Clear Complexion Cream Cleanser
Where I bought the product (Burt's Bees Clenaser): Walmart
Price: CAD 16-17
